Tatum, 2010.
Tatum’s Bags of Fun is a non-profit organization which distributes backpacks filled with age-appropriate games, toys and activities to every child diagnosed with a form of cancer in Indiana. Tatum is a two-time cancer survivor who wants to share her successful fight against cancer to provide inspiration and hope to the children and their families. She also wishes to bring joy and laughter to her ’cancer friends‘ via a Bag of Fun filled with items to help keep them entertained during their long and difficult fight against cancer.

A Bag of Fun® for a Girl, circa 2006.
A Bag of Fun® is a brightly-colored, cheery backpack filled to the brim with age-specific electronic games, toys and activities practical for a hospital setting. Gabby Krause, an amazing 6-year old, made the original Bag of Fun® to stay busy and happy during long hospital visits. It was Gabby’s wish that every child at the hospital could have their own bag.
Soon after being diagnosed, Tatum received her Bag of Fun filled with toys and activities from the Gabby Krause Foundation. The Bag of Fun not only helped Tatum get through the long days, but it was gladly shared by Tatum with many other pediatric cancer friends. It is Tatum’s wish that children battling cancer in Indiana receive their very own Bag of Fun.
